Does anyone know the ID of the P-51 Hogan stole for the Germans, then bailed out of? That was a really cool episode.

It has been a few years (decades) since I watched though, aside from the occasional peek as I checked in on what the kids are watching! I Know NOTHING!!

I love the way they refer to Hitler as "Old Scramble-brains".

Okay, I'm not saying anything ELSE!

The episode was called, Easy come, Easy Go. You might catch it on TVland.

That's what I remember. I did see the one when they blew something up and the Gen. was worried that he would be going to the Russian front and Hogan suggested it was hit by secret bombers...

I must admit, Hogan's Heroes was one of my favorite shows as a kid, and when I'm stuck at home on days I'm not feelin' so well, I try my hardest to be sure to catch the reruns on TV Land. So, I've seen the episodes all of you have mentioned, and then just the other day, I saw one where the gang kidnapped a German General in his "personal bomber" and bombed a local ball bearing plant or something with it. What's funny is in one scene, it was a B-17, in another a Lancaster, and I want to say the cockpit shots were all B-25. :-)

Oh well, it's not like it's "based on a true story." You know......like Airplane (the movie) was.

Who remembers the MAD Magazine take off on Hogans?

It was called Hokums Heros.

I only remember one line of dialog from it but it made me laugh .

One
of the crew asks Colonel Hokum in what tunnel they can hide someone or something and the response was ,

Hide them behind the secret B-29 factory tunnel or the secret Sherman tank factory tunnel.
