Does anyone live near of have any information about the Heber Valley Aero Museum in Heber,Utah or the Southern Utah Air Museum in Washington,Utah? The websites for both museums disappeared several weeks ago and I am curious to know if they are still open.

The Heber Valley museum has been combined with and will be moved into the CAF's new facility at Heber Airport. They will have their C-45, Stearman, L-bird and all the displays into the new hagr in about a month. It's at the south end of the airport now and thePV-2 is parked outside next to it. Chk cafutahwing....that should give you some more info :D

Thanks for the info everyone.

I have created a new entry in the Locator for the CAF Wing...
ImageAerial Visuals - Location Dossier - Commemorative Air Force - Utah Wing

Can anyone tell me if I have the aircraft list for the merged collection about right?

Mike

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

With regard to aircraft presently based at Heber ...for display etc. as follows: C-45, Stearman(2ea.), T-28,CJ-6,PV-2...part time: L-5, AirCoup, Yak-52
The P-51 is under restoration in ID. and is no longer based here, Mig-15 is owned by the operator who is based here but aircraft is at Wendover, UT which has another great museum
Hope this helps
Dave
