I thought no one was flying today, because it's light-nazi enforced blackout for an hour day?

I was in Westwood (L.A.) this afternoon and saw a Cobra gunship leading a Huey heading east over the Westwood Memorial Park Veterans' Cemetary - maybe a flyover for a funeral?

Well, I just got it this morning and it's a BIG step up from my PowerShot. I know I don't have the best lens setup at this point but i'm gonna work with it this year and see what i'd like to improve on next year. No matter what it's a major upgrade for me.
