This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

I saw a A-4 Skyhawk last week passing through Albuquerque. It was painted in a tan, green, and brown camo scheme. And day before yesterday we had a Tornado do a flyover of the airport on its way east. Couldnt tell the nationality.

Sorry about catching the strobe at mid-flash, but I see (and hear) several of these ANG F-16s launch every day.

The T-Birds were buzzing around today and there was a B-52 floating around as well. Luke AFB open house this weekend so I imagine I'll be seeing lots of interesting types arriving tomorrow.

A CH-47 buzzed our house at less than 1000 AGL last evening. Probably a Guard bird heading out from Fort Custer.

I called into a furniture Wharehouse today on my way to another job in the area. Hanging from the roof were all manner of aircraft bits. Some of the items were
B17 ball turret complete. 2 complete vintage gliders, Corsair and Lightning wing flaps, Sea Venom tail boom assembly, Lincoln front Cowl and spinner, Fairy Gannet Prop, several radial engines and an Avon jet engine and lots of other stuff.
I spoke to the guy there. He said his boss had been collecting this stuff for years. He wouldnt give me his contact number.
The shop is located on Cantebury rd Cantebury Sydney. Pretty cool

A Dassault Mirage, a Douglas A-4 Skyhawk, and two Hawker Hunters. They were flying ILS approaches at Pt. Mugu NAS. The Mirage did three, while the others did two.

I'm at my office at Halim airport in Jakarta now. My office overlooks the runway and NOTHING flying today due to a impressive lightning show , lightning strikes are every 15 to 20 seconds !
One of those tropical storms that go from 500ft to 60,000ft , it's a monster !

the "Mirage" would most likely be a Kfir (Israeli Mirage knock off)
all the above flown by ATAC
