Whats this about Wangaratta having SEVEN .. 7 ... P-38 Lightnings in storage for a bloke called Jerry Yagan???
Seems all were recovered from PNG/Pacific and he has 7 to play with now... and might get 1-2 airframes out of these to fly...
Seems there are alot more stuff in Oz than really does meet the eye.

to answer your question, yes and no
yes they have 7 or 8 identities but hardly enough to make 2 aircraft. Most will be used for ID's to be wrapped around total rebuilds or sold off to finance the rebuilds of the other more popular id's. Gets us back to that old chesnut of whats a resoration vs new rebuild argunment.

I'm sure that weather it's a resoration or new rebuild we would all watch it fly over and know it IS a P-38.
