Look for this highly polished BT 13 at the Tico Warbird Show this weekend in Titusville Fl.
It belongs to Skip Inge, a Southwest captain, and a recent WIXER.

Looks good! I like the pre/early-war markings.

That is a really nice looking plane. I won't be able to make the show, but please let him know that I think it looks awesome!

Cheers,

David

Is the paint dry on it yet?
Saw it less than a month ago (see below).
Look forward to seeing it again this weekend.

Tom, will you be there with your PT-23?

Dad was going to make a call but if anyone goes, please take pics of TICO BELLE!!!!! She was supposed to take to the air again for the show!!!!! Those people should be commended!!!!! They stuck it out and repaired her to where it would have been easier to find another C-47!!!

I own #212 in the pictures above and I can tell you that the BT-13 is an absolute joy to fly...even if it is a "Poor Man's T-6". They are loud, smelly, beautiful, and slow airplanes... personally I wouldn't have it any other way! Just plain old fun!

Sounds like a fun airplane to me. I've seen one for sale on courtesy That looked nice but it had a tiny instument panel in the back with like 3 guages and a throttle is this normal?
