Florida's boat construction industry was DESTROYED a few years back when a luxury tax was imposed on "Luxury Boats" Something like 15-20 thousand people lost their jobs due to Washington mindlessly slapping taxes on things. I hope they seriously thing things through and discuss and perhaps even READ whatever bill they are about to impose! All I'm saying is that they had better study the ramifications on the aircraft industry before they go SLAMMING it in an economy that is already down! Common Sense?

Here in Massachusetts, the Gov. is proposing a $.19 to $.25 per gallon increase in State gas tax. It will bring us up to be the highest in the country. How quickly people forget about $4.10 a gallon.

That's enough of the political posturing.

Read this from the start and you will see that adminstrations from both sides of the isle are capable of these kinds of ideas...

Once again right your representative and those on the committees that propose this kind of thing. It is the only recourse we have between elections.

Stick to the facts.

If only fuel tax were all we have to worry about. All that takes is money. We have about three years left to enjoy leaded fuel. The T-6's will still fly... for the Mustangs, it's goodbye. These folks are serious and they do not care about your hobby, because your hobby is killing the children.

I do not know if you know this, but it just became illegal to sell a minibike or ATV for a child under age 13.
