While out running errands yesterday I saw one of these at Toys R Us. It's pretty cool looking aside from the obvious major flaw. I've seen a couple places that are making decals to cover those horrendous blue dots.

Actually, the blue dots are NOT a mistake.

They are manufactured in China (communist) and they don't allow the Chinese Nationalist Star to be displayed anywhere in the country. The toy company got around the problem by placing the correct stickers in the box when it arrives in the United States.

I have one and even the images of the P-40 on the box art had the Nationaist Star stuck on with a sticker after it left China.

Kind of silly, but interesting the way they get around it.

I got one at weBtoys and have started figuring out how to make the correct windscreen for it as well as the other glaring mistakes.

There must be some sort of exception for model kits. I've got two different P-40s from Chinese companies (HobbyBoss and Trumpeter) and both have Nationalist insignia decals, as well as displayed in the box art.
