I don't remember the OAG having F-89's, I know the WA ANG @ Geiger had them ( and lost several in a year or two) as did Idaho and Montana. The B-25 pictured from OAG has the Hughes radar nose used as a proficiency trainer for F-89 RIO's, unless the airframe was sent to PDX after retirement from an F-89 Squadron.

The General shown in the still from 'The Giant Claw' is longtime B movie baddy Morris Ankrum, who was the villian of choice in the Hopalong Cassidy movies, had a very very long career as a Western movie bad guy-

Today i bought B-25 Microfilm on assignments and and stations from 54-58. The tail numbers that i purchased were 44-30478 to 44-35699 so if anyone is interested, the film will be here in 4 weeks.

During that period I think nearly every AFB had one or more B-25s for "administrative" flights. I personally flew on them at Edwards AFB and Brooks AFB to get my 4 hours in when our B-29s were "down" for some reason.

I was at Schilling AFB, Salina, KS, from 1957 to 1959. During that time, we had two TB-25N's assigned there as Base Flight aircraft. They were assigned to the 802nd ABG.
The serials were 44-31331 and 44-30267. I have several hours of back seat time in both of them and about 20 minutes of left seat time in 30267.
The two B-25s and one C-119 we had, were swapped for three C-123's in 1959.
