Wooohoo!

I was just able to acquire a new book for my L-birds library! The best part was that I actually got it for less than half what it's usually going for on www.Bookfinder.com!

Lightplanes at War here we come! Anyone here know of other books that would be good additions for an "L-bird Library?"

Ryan,

I don't know of any other great L-bird titles. I also didn't know about Bookfinder.com. Thanks for that, I'm sure I will put it to good use often.

Sometimes it seems I don't know nuthin' about nuthin' .

Maybe I should post some of the other titles I have...

Bookfinder isn't always the cheapest, but it does give you a price range to look at. The price I paid for that book on Ebay was well under the market value. If I'm trying to sell a used book, I'd try to see what it was going for on Bookfinder and start it a reasonable enough amount below that in order to get interest and hope the price gets bid up a bit...

Yep, that's definitely a good one. I have it as well. Other titles include Box Seat Over Hell, Alone and Unarmed, US Liaison Aircraft in Action, and some other obscure titles.

Ryan (and others), bookmark this link, and use it FIRST for any books you're seeking:

http://used.addall.com

A friend of mine sent me that link several years ago, and I have scored some tremendous deals from there, the best being "Fighters over the Desert" by Chris Shores and Hans Ring for 25 bucks and change... prior to that, I had NEVER seen that book for less than 85 dollars. You can change your search and sort preferences, and it looks worldwide if you wish.

Good luck with it!

Interesting, but I may stick with Bookfinder. It looks to me like Bookfinder is a bit better (at least in my cursory comparison test) for two reasons. First, it includes the shipping price in the search, which is useful, especially if you do a search of the book Lightplanes at War. Second, it appears to search a few more sites (18 vs. 11 results).
