Paul, the F-4 had a regular autopilot. The stab aug and roll aug go through it. Before we got the plane the AF had already placarded against use for autopilot function.

The A-4 autopilot was a pain when it was new and the Navy left them in place for weight and balance but it is inop.

N9127 is getting an autopilot installed.
I'll keep you posted on how it works.

Cliff told me you were putting an autopilot in your T-Bird. I look forward to hearing how you like it. It'd be nice to have an autopilot for those longer high-altitude legs!

And too, for the initial vectoring during approaches. I'll let you know!

Paul, that looks so boring ... It's so much more fun to battle it out with JDK.

How about flying down to Breckenridge next week ... wishful thinking

BTW .... "Go ahead, make my day" .... 8)

Sorry to bore you. You have an interesting concept of fun, but I'll bet you one of those fruity umbrella drinks you'd like flying this little airplane better than giving James sh1t... even though it's prop-less. Leave your credit card number with my FBO's line guy and I'll fill'er up and come down there. 8)

"Damm1t Callahan!"
