HAha. Thanks for the encouraging words.

You should get the tora conversion done! That is a cool idea!

I actually have worked on my 927 a little. The canopy is shaping up, and i vacuformed front greenhouse. Some more sanding, and soo ill be able to throw some paint at her.

Photos will come.

Warbird Kid, for whatever reason, I'm just now coming across this thread. I think your Ol' 927 model is a great idea and it's cool that you're taking on such a project. With all the mods you've had to do to make it authentic, now maybe you have an idea of what we went through, huh?

Haha,

Thanks for the kind words Gary! Sadly this model is still unfinished and sitting in the "back burner" pile!

But I think I might have to pull her out of the boneyard and get back to work on her!

How do you think I should display her?

Static, on tarmac?
Flight, in mid air?
Takeoff, wheels on there way up?

You decide!

In the hangar, with a depressed, poor, short, fat mechanic working on it.

You wouldn't think it was so funny if you had to work around the DPSFM referenced above, August.

Ha! Good one, Scott. But don't you think it's ironic that I was especially depressed when you were helping?

Nope, I get the same reaction on the rockpile every day. Why do you think I've been trying to find a new job for the last year (and can't even volunteer without getting run off)?

Back to the subject of the model, you are a master modeler, Warbird Kid!!! Over a year of inaction on a project is a sign of great procrastination skills. I salute you. 8)

Yeah, maybe hanging from a landing gear strut, holding on for dear life!

That's pretty cool. Too bad they put an upper turret on it.
