Well, the "what" is clear enough if you just mean Hellcat at top and Wildcat at bottom, but which ones? The Hellcat looks like the Vraciu one from TFC, and the gear looks like it's just tucking up. If the Hellcat is Vraciu's, logic would dictate that the Wildcat is TFC's as well; and all that suggests this is an interestingly-cropped shot of part of a Navy-setpiece takeoff at Duxford during the period Mr Grey owned those two 'cats...there's my guess...even if I'm correct with those bits, the vantage point I wouldn't have the faintest about though!

The photo was taken from the official press enclosure on the south side of Duxford airfield, well within the boundary area. No longer used, thankfully.

'Stylee' Sarf London for 'in the manner of'.
