Greetings all,

many of you know that i am work color profiles and a hunderds of them are published last year in various publication. Also I have support one local competition in Serbia with various of my work. I would like to do something more...

Who would like to help me to get in contact with any living pilot from WW2? My idea is to make profile of his airplane, print some limited edition for my self and give to this veteran to sign it. This material will not be used for sale but especially as gift. So this will be used on various competitions for modelers as first target.

I don't care if anybody want to print more and make money. let it go. Just want some number of signed copy for me. Never mind if the vetarn is japanese pilot, US, Brit, Dutch...

Thank you for reading this. If the WIX authorities think that this will be good way to earn money for the forum work- no problem.

Cheers Image

There's a retired General here in Salem I'm close with
who would help out. He flew P-47Ds in the 410th FS
373rd FG 9th AF 1944-45. His P-47 was R3+A "Gal-O-My-Dreams".

A friend from the local museum used to fly Mosquitos during WWII.

His name's Jack Meadows. I could try getting a hold of him and get him to e-mail you.

Cheers,

David

If you are still looking for people...
There are two guys here in the Denver area.
It would be very cool to see something done for them.
I will check with someone who knows them both and try to get back to you.

Lt Lynn Daker (B-25 pilot)
Out of the 36 missions he flew, Daker took enemy fire 28 times.
On one of his missions, Lt. Lynn Daker was forced to ditch in the ocean only a few hundred yards from a Japanese-held island. He and his crew were safely rescued.
