only 1000 meters grass runway. No good for my jet :P

Wow, what more could you ask for? Your own grass strip and hayfields for your horses. I wonder if our horses would like to return to their ancestral home?
Annual habitation tax of 4,000 euros per year sounds pretty cheap if that is all the property taxes. I wonder what the utility bills are for the place though?
Looks like a heck of a place for a warbird fly-in. 8)

Looks like something out of Jonny Quest episode. Only thing missing there is Race Bannon, the jet, and a couple of Spads

Put a couple of J85s on there and you'll be all set!

That's a "lottery home" alright. We've been there (Normandy that is.) and it's one of the most beautiful places we've ever been to. I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Even without the runway.

Mudge the dreamer

Looks quite like the farmhouse at Quatre Bras(?) in the Battle of Warterloo. Maybe that's where Wellington kept his Westland Lysander?
