Well, it is notable that a Mustang is going up for sale at $1.6M. The trend of the last several years showed prices snaking upward like barrels of crude oil.

This appears to be a price that is trending down now....

Yea, I noticed that too. My first thought was, wow, what a cheap Mustang, I wonder what's wrong with it? It appears to be a pretty good airframe at a reasonable price. Now, if only the airplane would go down another million, and I might have a chance of buying it!

Very nice aircraft, nice painting.
Mayby it will come to Germany :D :D :D

Does anybody know something about the "Never Miss"?

Hopefully they'll still be $1.6M in 30 years when I can afford one

I heard "Never Miss" was going to Germany.

Hmmm me thinks Jack knows a thing or two on this one. Also Courtesy has it off pending.

I've been saying that for 30 years now! When I was in your position 30 years ago, Mustangs were only about $ 150,000. As I got older and made more and more money, the price continually went up, just out of reach of my pocket book. Now, here we are 30 years later, and the prices of Mustangs went up exponentially out of sight. I don't think I'll ever be able to afford one, unless someone is able to build replica's at a VERY cheap price. :(

It's amazing how quickly warbirds have skyrocketed in price in what seems to be a fairly short time frame. If it were 1960 and I was in the position I am today, I'd have one in my hangar. Heck, I could have two!
