He's been having some tough times lately after doing much better. The doctors seem to be doing a great job, but some more positive energy or prayer from us can't hurt!

I spent last weekend with Alan and the gang. We took him down to the farm where the airport is. We had a good time. I flew his favorite plane, the "Cub" around the farm while he watched. It was an emotional time for both of us. We both wished he was up in the Cub.I met 10 or more people that Alan had taught to fly or given them thier first ride in that Cub.

He was always cold the whole weekend and run down. We thought it was the emotion of his first time back to the farm. I found out that the infection that put him in the hospital on Tuesday was on the tests performed the previous thursday but missed. Thay's why he was cold and a little under the weather for the weekend. He does read the posts in the guest book, so send him your best.

Thanks very much for doing that.
I very much love to hear about all the folks that visit him and help out Jenny. Its a lot of work for her. And he's a great guy.
Take care,
Vlado

My understanding is that the Cecil Field Jacksonville Fl show on April 18th and 19th is set up as a benefit for Alan. If this proves to be true I'm going to fly the Skyraider down there and support it.

I can't think of a better cause.

Just posted a comment on his website. Everyone should do the same.

Cheers,

Just an update, there's been some pretty decent improvement for Alan, and the Cecil Field tribute show will be coming up. More thoughts and prayers I'm sure would be welcome, as the Henley family has been through a lot.

Nice work, Doug...you're a class act.

And be sure to send all our thanks to Mr. C for that special bed. Sounds like a Godsend for the Henleys.

Thanks for the comments. You too can get involved in some small way. I'm selling house cleaning sponsorships
