Anyone know of any racers with interesting history or combat history? I heard P-51 Strega has some very interesting history not listed in the registry. BTW what year (1970's?) did Reno have three P-38's flying? I don't believe they were racing though. Anyone hear about this? ...

Nathan, did you move this? .... I don't understand why. It's got everything to do with warbirds and nothing really to do with air racing. If you move this thread, you should really move the "what's our age" thread as well (oops, forgot that's Scott's deal), shouldn't you? ... It doesn't really matter much, but I didn't have air racing in mind when I posted it .... :?: :?:

And don't forget the "shuttleworth video clips" need to be put in the base theater ....

And "Aviation & music"? ..... :bs: :axe:

Oh I get it now, your blackballing me and Greenwood ... haha

Just playing with you, but come on now, fair is fair right? .... 8)

Nathan, in all fairness a Q about the combat history of air racers that are warbirds is more relevent than talking music in the main forum.
