My girlfriend took me up to New York on Friday 'cause she had to go to her optomotrist. We went to the Intrepid, and I was impressed with the new look. I have some pics on my camera, but have to find new batteries to upload them. Anywho, I was reading that Paul Newman was an Avenger pilot. Any credit to this, and any one know about what he did and where he was? If this is true, then I have even more respect for the man. Who wants pics?

He was an Avenger Gunner, was part of a bunch of FNG's assigned to the Bunker hill. His pilot got sick, his crew stayed behind. The rest of the FNG's died when that Kamikazi hit the BH. True story.

I'd love to see the Intrepid pics. It has been years since I visited.

Years since I have been there also. Would like to see some pictures of the museum.

A picture of the Intrepid today. News as of now, no fatalities.
