Fw190 in US markings?

Thu Jan 08, 2009 5:49 pm

I found this little original print in my files today.

It looked interesting...anybody recognise it?

The personnel look to be RAF.

I've seen a couple of different captured 190s in US markings, including one well-known example painted bright orange.

This one is very interesting for me:

It is captured and today is preserved in USA. It feature late war camouflage where top coat depend of the section manufacturer. Any additional images of this plane, most interesting could be from the time when it was captured.

With the small Kennzeichen, my first thought would be SKG 10, but all the ones I've seen from that unit had white two-digit codes... soooo, I guess what I'm saying is, I don't know. :)

Nice shot, though!
