Is there some sort of website or other listing that can help me to pinpoint the serial number, unit and any other information on a B-24 Liberator that was (probably) destroyed on the ground at Bomber I, Henderson Field, Guadalcanal on the 13th of March 1943, when No. 3 Squadron RNZAF Hudson NZ2037 swung on landing in a crosswind and smashed into the parked bomber?

I'd very much like to find out more info on the Lib for my book on the Hudson squadrons. Thanks.

There is no AAF Form No. 14 Aircraft Accident Report for this one on the microfilm. You might want to try www.pacificwrecks.com . Or find a guy named Peter Dunn at www.ozatwar.com . He might be able to figure it out. If you get any information on this B-24, please send it along to me so I can add it to my data base of WWII airplane wrecks. Thank you.
