This'll probably get ME banned... but here goes.

Bill, while you know from our PMs that I'm also diametrically opposed to the political views sometimes espoused. That said, I also feel that as long as folks stay within the rules of the forum, they should be OK. Even the moderators usually find some grace around the edges as there are some things where politics ARE involved in the whole "warbirds" discussion. I know I've contributed a few threads like the TSA and large aircraft regulation, etc... which go to show that politicians of both major stripes have serious issues.
That said, if you find you have to leave, you could always join the one other high-profile departure from WIX over at http://warbirdsworldwide.forumotion.com/forum.htm and start the "Banned WIXers" club  The two of you might actually balance each other out... J/K
On a more serious note, if I recall correctly, you've already been through the process before and survived to come back another day, so you probably don't have too much to worry about as long as you stay within the posted rules, or slightly past them  but not too far.

Ryan

This thread is getting rather ugly.

Let's tone down the rhetoric just a bit.

Man I read everything up to that point and didn't see the need for another warning, or did you erase somone elses post?

Anyway sorry to see the SS mods are running you out Bill, I always enjoyed your talk on the Spitfire.

Can't say I blame ya for laying low, this forum in the last year or so has gone right down the crap hole.

Cheers Dave C

Rhetoric is insincere language. I just don't see that.
Everyone's seems to be quite sincere.

Well Jack,
...that is one meaning of the word. The meaning I was looking for was,
grandiloquent: extravagantly colorful, pompous, or bombastic style.

Ontario...Yes, I edited out an F-Bomb...that is UGLY speech in a public forum.

Wow!!! Sorry, lost my train of thought there due to that picture. I know I am just a tiny and insignificant part of this sight, but I would hate to see Bill go. I do not know him , but from his posts he seems to be a very decent and humanitarian person. Think I would like to chew the fat with him if I ever met him. The place would be emptier without you Bill. Merry Christmas to all. and goodwill to all on WIX.
PS. Hellcat, would you send a cupcake to me over in Scotland? Could send you a nice single malt back :D

See now there's a good moderator for ya ... knows when he's going to get killed and knows that nudity is usually a good thing ... Unless it's a photo of Bill Greenwood nude promising not to leave .... :vom:

No, just pointing out that you -- like Bill -- have been at the center of some spirited debates around WIX, and that your viewpoints are a valued part of the community here.

Hey pal, don't insult me by comparing me to that liberal, communistic, foreign-warbird flying member who happens to live in one of the most politically radical locations in America (Aspen)   ... and "spirited debates" ... I wish I was that smart to be involved in one ... haha

happy X-mas top gun, be safe Randy ... :D

Thanks to all.

Thanks Bill, you earn my respect for the mere fact that for years you've had to switch hands on the stick to raise the gear and live in Aspen--one of my favorite places in the world. 8) I know being a jet guy makes me suspect but I occasionally fly prop taildraggers and it's ok I guess...every bit as thrilling as kissin' your sister, I mean, one's sister unless one lives in Mudge's neck of the woods. To further compensate for the jet character flaw I'm happy to report that I'm a skier and not some renegade snow-boarding subversive. By the way, I know I swore off politics but this is more of a religious proclamation: You'll be happy to know I've accepted Barack as my personal savior.

I'm spending much more time in West Hollywood working these days, which I must say is a wonderfully "conservative" location if I ever experienced one.  I've never been so ... how should I say it? ... "visually undressed" by other men, anywhere .... UGH!!!! ..

haha ... BTW I have three computer monitors here in the office so I can keep an eye on all you rule breakers ... That's why I would be a great moderator. Also who said here you can't be a moderator when you're still on parole? ....
