Bob Byrne had 4 and Brian O'Farrell had a corral full of Dominican birds in the '80s. Don't forget Don Hull.

Dave Tallichet at one time had several. I worked on two of them. One of them is the NACA bird.

The Eaa Air museum has the XP-51 and Cavalier P-51D. Both flyable when parked .
Kermit Weeks has an A, the C, and a D.
Many of those guys you mentioned have their aircraft set up in 501C3 museums of some sort.

Randy, if I'm not mistaken, Dream Machines LLC have 2 stock P-51's under rebuild.

Off the top of my head:

Ken McBride
Bob Odegaard
Duane Doyle

Doyle and McBride have two projects, Odegaard has one flyer and one project.

I remember at the time of the first Gathering of Mustangs, there was the "Lady Alice corporation" which I thought I read had 3 and wanted to acquire 6 more. Is that Bob Jepson, who was mentioned earlier in this thread?

It came to the U.S. right before the Gathering and has not left, and was flown to Chino for rebuild which I think is still being undertaken? Doin a little searching it appears the Ron Fagen has bought it. But until it gets confirmed, we'll see.
