What wrecks would you like to see recovered from the Pacific?

Ok I know all of them but if you had to pick which ones?:

This one for me: B-24D-53 "Beautiful Betsy" Serial Number 42-40387.

I'd like to see the Sparrowhawks recovered, a Kate from anywhere, the two TBD's and the B-17 "Black Jack".

Oh yeah, and Amelia's Lockheed 10!

B-17F "Black Jack" would be an awesome recovery. Man..the stories that fort could tell! :D I have such a passion for wrecks in the Pacific. So many types of planes and various models with actual combat experiances and so many stories each could tell in their own way. Too bad some of the countries out there are not the greatest to deal with in recovering them! :x :x :x :(

I remember hearing from a Navy guy stationed in Hawaii that there were several Japanese wrecks in the hills somewhere and one within site of the airfield he was stationed at. My immediate reaction was that they probably couldn't tell the difference between anything with a radial engine and a "Zero" Still I wonder if there are wrecks of the Pearl Harbor attackers left to be discovered.

Tops for me would have to be to see every last bit of metal from "The Lost Squadron" brought up from the ice of Greenland. What time capsules they must be.

Hello,

I am not sure that I would want anything disturbed but - talk about time capsules - how about a complete survey of the Midway battlefield! We have the technology to do it.

I'd like to see all possible aircraft recovered ASAP before they are all gone, dissolved back to mother earth, private party or museum or government recoveries,it doesn't matter, just recover them before its tooo late....lakes,oceans,mountains,swamps,underground forgotten hangers, just get them saved....

Those little Douglas amphibians that were dumped in the water off Oahu before the war, and the B-18 that's down there as well.
