Sure looks like a fake P-40 to me in the background. Could it be from the filming of PH?

The modern pictures are mine and that was a 1944 C-1 that was for sale. Yes that is a Pearl Harbor P-40 dummy.

The prop dolly for sale in the photos above belongs (belonged...not sure) to Jim Berteo at Eagle Field. Here is the link to the post on G503.com:

We have one at our museum that came out of government surplus. I think it was dated 1986 but is exactly the same except for the fenders. It even has the same WWII designation.

Here is one spotted at CAF San Marcos, B-25 Yellow Rose's prop and engine mount is on it at least as of last Friday.

I just stumbled onto my "2AF B-29 Specialized Maintenance Aids" book. Here is the approved modification from Alamogordo AAF to convert the standard prop dolly to fit the B-29 propeller:
