Does anyone have pics of the damage CY did recently to the T-6? I'd like to see how much he actually did to the a/c...

report

Bipe, thanks for that report. It seems that the unusual flight of the plane just before and during the crash would fit some type of pilot physical problem. However, there are still no facts to prove or disprove it, no atopsy report of any impairment, for instance. I notice the only witness who is quoted doesn't say anything about the pilot slumping over.

???

It was posted on a couple sites for a while but I can't find it.
Very ugly!! It was rebuilt I believe.
the airplane departed the runway edge and proceeded down a fifteen-foot embankment and made contact with several large rocks, separating both main landing gear.
The rocks were actually boulders

No!!! ... even at 5'-0" I still look down at guys like you  and Paul (T33driver) ... who owes me a few drinks BTW.

Speaking of low down @#$%^& .... How many phone books do you sit on in those toys you have? .... oops!! forgot "toys" is not a PC word in the warbird community ...

How bout that. I make a smart A$$ remark and Paul gets thrown under the bus...I could get used to this!

BTW you can call them toys if you wish, I don't pretend to have the airplanes for any reason other than I enjoy flying them and the challenge of taking care of them.

Who cares? Leave the guy alone, he didn't hurt anyone.

Sorry, just back from Waikiki. Hey what about my needs?! Worse things have happened to me besides getting run over by Mark's (Hellcat) Barbie Hot Tub party bus:

I don't need a phone book in my jet to reach the pedals and see over the glareshield since it was designed in the '40s when mini-me was the standard for average male stature. Yah yah Mark I'll get the next round if you promise not to order those girlie cosmo fruit punch drinks.

Good for you, just the way it should be .... haha!!! ... poor Paul, not even here to defend himself ... lets continue the discussion about just how low T33dude is while he has no idea. Forget about Yeager, he seems to get too much debate as it is .... it's old and getting older. As some of these guys are stating, leave the guy alone .... and maybe he'll leave the rest of us alone. Sounds like a good exchange .... Now back to T33shorty ....

Joking of course

Yah Nathan it was a shock. I figured NHL guys drank rocket fuel or Scotch, not rainbow colored concoctions in slushy glasses with umbrellas and Koala bears-on-a-stick protruding from them. Oops sorry, now back to our regularly scheduled Chuck-bashing...
