Look more like CT than OH.
Must have had good visibility in flight. On the ground it must have been awful.

From the front seat it probably felt a lot like the XF4U prototype.

Id like to see a Goodyear bird today modified with a Birdcage Canopy and made into a dual control. (Kinda like the Corsair version of the CF's P-51)

You might see such a thing someday...only it won't be a birdcadge and will be a Vought bird.

There's a guy in Maryland, I think, that has a Dash 7 that he's attempting to make into a dual control version.
Don't know all the specifics, but it isn't as easy as it sounds.

I'm sure it's a VERY daunting project to say the least! I don't envy the engineer tasked to do that! Cool project, though! Has work started on it yet?

It is the old "Alberta Blue" F4U-7 which is now in Virginia. See here:

http://www.oads.com/aviation_operations/vought-f4u-7-corsair

As I heard it, the plan was to install dual controls and a second canopy. I'm not sure what happened since, or even the current status of the aircraft. Anyone know more?
