I'm not sure of the Devil Dog's status, but I know it's on the ground with maintenance being done. Same for the Yellow Rose. It's a shame, this is the first year since we've held our Christmas Party in Fredericksburg that she hasn't been able to fly some squadron members up there. It's my understanding that the rebuilt left engine should arrive around the end of the month, or the first part of the year. Work is progressing well on the wing.

Doolittle Raiders is probably airworthy Ryan but its a matter of $$$$, besides there weren't any B-25s at Dec.7 (other than the one they put a single tail on and blew up in Tora)

The Dog is here in Midland. It will be getting some work redone, so it'll be here for a while yet.

Right. Neither were P-38s or P-51s... Or L-5s! I was under the impression that they were more looking for all types of aircraft that served in the Pacific.

I know, just trying to reason it out. But it would be fun to cut the tail off and blow it up, tell everybody its' an A-20. Iv'e seen that movie a hundred times and never noticed the planes in the hangar.

Pilot availability, fuel, or mechanical issues on those scratches?

I doubt it was $$$$$ for the Belle. They were looking forward to bringing the PX and Harley over. I'll try to find out.

Bluebonnet Belle is down with mag problems. Since the C-47 won't be there, they have decided to not bring their PX or Harley either.
