We will have a WWII battle each morning, then a Vietnam battle each afternoon. For the afternoon battle, we will have a convoy attacked, O-2 come in, 2 Huey's drop off troops, then 2 Skyraider's come in with pyro.

That down pilot video was taken at our 2007 show.

The M-151 looks sweet!

Trucks and Jeeps are nice, but I want to see AIRCRAFT!

The O-2, UH-1, A-1 pyro demonstration sounds very promising, Michael.

Should be a great air show next August.

The TOM website has been updated:

http://www.yankeeairmuseum.org/airshow/

They are advertising a gathering of C-130s which should be very interesting. I hope that the picture of the F-4 in the upper left is a good "hint" that we will see a Phantom at the show as part of the Vietnam Salute.

I hope that we can get a variety of Hercules models and paint schemes (USAF, ANG, AF Reserve, Marines, Navy, Coast Guard, etc. to give us a varied lineup.

And hopefully we will get flybys of C-130s, the C-123, C-47 and other transports.

Looking forward to a terrific show next August.

That particular Phantom doesn't look like that anymore !

Hopefully, we can work it out.

No,No, I mean the paint has been changed to duplicate 63-7680.

That was the Phantom flown by Col. Robin Olds on Operation Bolo. It got a second kill not long after while being flown by another crew. It was later shot down with the pilot being killed. The WSO got out. The aircraft crashed in the South China Sea.

The Phantom in those markings flying with the MiG-21, recalling January 1967......sounds like a natural for the Vietnam salute theme.....

Maybe...??
