On channel 8 this evening. So why is it all still a bunch of speculation?
How long has the FAA been analyzing all the parts?
Was the engine running at crash time etc? That should be pretty straight forward to figure out.
Hmm what are the requirements to become an aircraft crash investigator?

ENGGUY,
Please keep in mind that we are dealing with 'our' gummint functionaries, the FAA still isn't really 100% sold on that wierd newfangled metal construction stuff, after all, it's only been around for about 100 years or so, they are fairly settled on wood and fabric, and please don't rattle their cages over carbon fiber.
They want to be absolutely certain in their findings, after it's not like it was their money is it?
