with all the buzz on the catch 22 thread i thought i'd start a minor trivia thread contest about the movie, after seeing it 50 zillion times. this is all subtle minor trivia that takes a sharp eye to spot. questions as follows.....

1. major danby has what kind of candy bar in his pocket in the control tower??

2.ops officer major major (bob newhart) is in his office.... what scenery changes occur every time he's back on camera??

sorry kiddies, no pony prizes in this contest were in a reccession ya know!!

I think it is a Baby Ruth in the tower scene.

I think that there was a photo or a painting that kept changing. I actually just watched it the other day.

Yep, a portrait on the office wall--one time it's Churchill, another time it's Hitler, yet again it's Roosevelt ...

I haven't watched that movie in a good while. Seems like about time for another viewing ...

I guess everyone got those questions right!
I didn't have time to try!
Here's two:

In what scene is the Tallmantz Camera ship B-25 visible?

What duty do the nurses perform while helping the patient with the full body cast?

Jerry

The patient had an IV and a catheter -- the IV bottle needs to be changed for a full one perioically, and the pee bottle emptied periodically.

Just not quite the way they did the job!

Being a former army medic, that scene made me laugh hysterically the first time I saw the movie...

If you watch closely, they simple swap the empty IV bottle with the catheter bottle that is full of urine. Funny as heck and direct from the novel.

Here's another question:
Who stared in the 1973 TV show, 'Catch -22"? (I saw it back then, did anyone hear see it?)
