With the recent discussions about F-84F Thunderstreaks, I was just wondering if there were any straight-wing F-84 Thunderjets in private hands, and if so, any potential flyers? I've always liked the straight-wing version better than the swept-wing version, although I'm not sure why I feel that way. Both are neato!

Cheers!

I thought that Paul Allen has one or two. Perhaps someone here can verify that.

The Mid Atlantic Air Museum has a P-84. I dont know if it is their's or if it is on loan from the NMUSAF...

Either way I'd love to see it flying.

Pics from last November. I'll be going to the Museum this weekend and I'll try and snap some newer pics.

Here are some shots of Yank's F-84 that I took last month.
I was very impressed with the Yank's Museum. They have a great collection and an impressive restoration shop, which was a hive of activity .
