did any of you know the original name and designation of the Chinesse unit which use captured Zero during the WW2?

Mgawa - I'm not familiar with the Chinese actually using captured A6Ms in combat but they did recover at least one and fly it before Pearl Harbor. Here is a link that discusses that if it helps

I think that the Chinese may have used some earlier Japanese fighters, perhaps Ki-43 or Ki-27 types but don't have a solid reference at the moment.

Captured Japanese planes on Formosa (Taiwan), late summer 1945 I think.
Zero, Frances and some others.

I have somewhere in the chaos of my files list of the Zero used in China, I think over twenty was used. But most puzzling is the info about he sole sample used in USSR as liaison plane. No confirmation about this story.
