Interesting codes configuration on the sides of the aircraft in the third pic.
I don't remember seeing any like that.

You don't see many F4U-5 pics without the "bar" in the star. First production F4U-5 was Oct. 47. Kind of a rare pic.

Love 'em! Thanks. :) I'm always a fan of a Corsair shot. I've been trying to find one that captures the shape of the wings and the plane just right with a good background. I'm thinking I have a place or two left that would fit a decent size Corsair tattoo. :D
