So How many DC-3 / R4D's/ C47's were in the flyover ? For that matter how many are based in the DFW area ? BTW very cool air to air footage !

There were 3 T-6s, 3 T-28s, 3 DC-3(type), 1 B-25, 1 L-5, and 1 FW-149 in the flight.

As for DC-3(type) aircraft based in DFW, I know of 3 museum aircraft -

"Ready4Duty" - CAF DFW Wing
"Southern Cross" - Prowler
"Mr. C It's Tuesday" - Cavanaugh Flight Museum

Then there is the Air Tejas birds at Gainesville and the 2 Airborne Imaging birds at Midlothian/Waxahachie.
