I watched on TV the last three British servicemen from WW1 lay their wreaths at the cenotaph this morning, including Harry Patch, the last survivor from the trenches. Very moving. Their ranks get thinner every year. I then went to our local memorial to pay my own private respects. So many names for such a small place, the WW1 casualties are horrendous to look at, and it is repeated everywhere, no matter how small a place, up and down this country. We must never forget their sacrifices, and owe it to them to not make the same mistakes again. My thoughts to veterans across the world.
Thought this was a moving tribute
