I am sure someone here can further enlighten me about the issue that the Collings Foundation and probably the CAF are facing with the TSA proposed rule "Docket Number TSA 2008-0021, Large Aircraft Security Program, Other Aircraft Operator Security Program and Airport Operator Security Program"
This sounds like a terrible rule that would kill the wings of freedom tour and maybe all bigger historic aircraft operations.
If you know more please share with the group here - I'm calling my Rep and Senator!

Umm... this was brought up a few months ago guys when the NPRM was initially issued. There's a thread here on the forum called "New TSA Rule" or something to that effect.

it does more than threaten bomber flights, it threatens the use of a pilot's or owners use of personal property. They want to require fingerprinting and background checks of the flight crew, even if the flight crew is the owner of the aircraft, as well as screening of passengers, even if passengers are the owners family, friends or employees.
it is BS, pure and simple, and if it could be bagged and sold, would be the best fertilzer ever invented.

Do you just click on the link under the person's name that says Send a Comment? It looks like that adds it to that particular person's comments. Is that right?

I don't know for sure, but I clicked on the

button to the right of the initial TSA document.
Maybe someone else is more familiar with the process...

We'll see. The last time something like this was going on was with the Air Tour issue. I know a lot of comments did make it through including mine.
