Jack, do you maybe have some photo of B-29 42-6230 ''Limber Dugan'' from the 792nd BS/468th BG, CBI?
As far as I know, it was the first B-29 shot down over Japan during the war, on the night 15/16 June 1944 by Ki-45 ''Nick'' fighter. Capt. Ivanovic crew, all KIA.

Thanks Jack,

My wife's family is from Allamakee County, IA and I thought there might be a connection to that area. After all, how many Postvilles can there be out there? :wink:

I'll have to see if my father-in-law knew Donald Humphrey...
