Today is very happy day for me as well I have received new set from Eduard for the Wildcat scale model in 1/48. Must say that this is that much detailed that man could with easy lost inside instructions and great number of parts. I am very curious to see if anywhere is available some close up images of the Wildcat gun bay, undercariage, cockpit and wing details. I have few of the archive images but they are not that sharp to show clearly full details.

To be honest, Wildcat is one of the great hero of the WW2. It fought from the very start to the last day and faced with very danger enemy.

Cheers :P

Mgawa,
Bert Kinzey Squadron Signal(they have a website) in detail series #65 F4F Wildcat. Copyright 2000. You should be able to find one on the net really cheap! Or they normally sell retail for about $14-15. Lots of detail :D :D

Nice book at all. To regret I can not use it, as well I would like to make small image selection for the web site. But for model build this publication is more then fine.

If you contact Squadron and ask them if you can post a couple of the images on your website with an attribution to them coming from their book, and a link, they may say yes - it's free publicity, after all.

Do you still need closeups of the B-24 canopy? I snapped a few at the NMUSAF last week.
