Ryan,
Mike was buzzing around way up at the top of the Tora act. Didnt look like he was chasing anyone but the P-40 was up there.

Keep posting pics! 8)

GREAT SHOTS or at least on of them is. Look at the photo of the p-38, look to our left in the foreground. There is a lady in a sleevless red top, and past her is a man in jeans and a light blue shirt. Just behind him is another guy, very well dressed and an obvious patriot, as well as a gentleman and a scholar. That made my day, and it does look like a good crowd.

There's also a hat on the other side (Guy's wearing a brown shirt)...

However, in the spirit of being fair and balanced - and "equal time" - :D I present this as well...

Ryan, that looks like spousal abuse or child abuse to me. Who would force their wife or daughter to go out in public with something like that on their back? As for "Aggie friends" , I also have a few that went there, but I don't like to say it out in the open.

Bill, Bill, I was talking about the U.T. stuff. Didn't want to get into all that other unimportant B.S.

Thats weird. Way back, in i think, 99' I was at one of the Wings of Eagles Airshows when the Tora team happened to be there. I remember Skyboss taking off during the attack, but climbed high and stayed over the entire act. Don't understand that. Why are you gonna have a period fighter go up without having someone to shoot at?

Has to do with attending Tora practice. No practice...........no fly in their airspace. FAA likes it that way.

Umm... Ober, Mike flew the Tora show at Midland so I'm pretty sure he's current.

My guess is it has something to do with all of the guys huddled around it on Saturday. I know that Mike and Doug said at least 3 times that the plane was fine when I saw it during Midland, but I've seen it with its cowl off as many times as it's been to shows this year, so I have to wonder if there's not some lingering issues with something that came up during the annual last year.

Wasn't responding so much as to the reason at WOH for no fighter cover, just the questions asked by others why no cover with other fighters. Only a few of the fighters go to practice, not specifically refering to Mikey.

Well, for sure they both took off - and my sister said she kept looking for the P-40 and never saw it after take off. I'm guessing that it must've been hidden from our position with the jeeps by the massive smoke cloud from all of the pyro going off.

They were back together once they landed.
