I don't think it came from "that" movie..I believe those replicas were all molded from Ns, and the Peterson replica is a short-tail E.

Where is Peterson? Hanscom AFB has a similar P-40 replica as well as an actual F-86 Sabre on a stick.

There is a similar looking P-40 on a stick as part of the Airpark Display at the old England AFB, now England Airpark, in Alexandria, LA.

They have an A-10A, A-7D, F-105G, F-86 and P-40. All but the F-86 are there because the last AD unit to serve was the 23rd Wing, which was the original Flying Tigers.

The F-86, was the plane flow/crashed by the pilot who the base was named after; England.

I helped put in the A-10, A-7 and F-105. The P-40 was fiberglass replica I know, as I talked to the guys who installed it.

Kurt :D

Hanscom AFB is in Concord, Mass., just West of Boston.
