Just so we're clear on the ground rules, you won't receive credit for girls in your pics who were paid to be nice to you and pretend they like you. This includes your mother.

Thanks bro. For a guy who doesn't fly, you have remarkable wingman instincts even if you are occasionally prone to getting in touch with your inner beeeyatch.

I figured I was gonna look like crap no matter what so what was the use. :D

There are some P-47 and P-40 shots buried in this set. Let me know if there's anything you're not seeing here. I'm not sure when i'll get back up there but i'm sure it won't be too long.

I do fly, been a licensed pilot since 1991, Just a simple WFR pilot in Cessna's and a very rare Globe swift in Michigan which soon seem to be sold to an x-marine pilot from NC ... My dad's pride and joy ... but needs to go to a better home where it will be taken better care of. We'll miss her.

JEM stands for James E Mansfield >>> I have never been a fan of dad's paint scheme, but it was his airplane. God bless him .. dad died a year ago last month and flew that swift until he was 84, he died at 86 ... I think that's cool. See his thread by J Cook. Very cool guy if you ask me. But no big deal i n the big picture ... just a normal guy why loved to fly airplanes.

Sweet picture and story, but stay on topic. This is all about "chicks" not nostalgia. (God bless your Pop)

Just because T33driver is shorter of stature, there was some mention of the word "Tripod" but that must be a special tool specific to the Canadian variant???? 8)

C'mon, everybody sing..."You never close your eyes anymore when I kiss your lips...."

Cool airplane and what a great story that your dad flew it til he was 84 and that is a big deal.

Now, back to our lead story...

FYAD is leaking into WIX. Anyway, the Pro-Castro forces used T-33's with a pair of 12.7mm MG's in the nose during the Bay of Pigs incident. And as I recall a number of them were exported as AT-33's. So it's certainly possible some saw combat, albeit on a limited basis.

Mark,

Me thinks you need to tell Steve Hinton how slow his jet is:

or Lee Griffin racing at 477 mph in 2007
