I too was thinking about coming out to TOM next year. I go to one big show per year away from the Pacific NW and was contemplating TOM. But, with a Vietnam Theme, I'm gonna have to pass. Oh well, there is always 2010.

I think you get all those beautiful planes up there, get EOD/Blastards on board, and it'll be one h*ll of a show!
I think I know where I'm going for my long-distance airshow next year!
Maybe Korea for 2010? That way we can try to get Fifi up there.

I know as a member of EOD/Blastards and the 29/24 Squadron I would love to do the show in Michigan! Thanks for the kind words about the work of the EOD/Blastards, it is always good to blow of some steam!

Gee, how do you really feel? Why the antipathy to the viet nam veterans and aircraft?

I kinda feel the same way sadly. I was kinda hoping for another gathering of some sorte or anything WWII thats my main interest.
I thought rumors were for an axis aircraft gathering.

Even though they have a theme, I'm sure they'll still have a bunch of great WWII stuff too..........

Don't forget the Bearcat, Hellcat, and Helldiver! The French flew those in the early days of Vietnam.

Got a couple Huey's down here that we could put on trailers to get them up there. The people at WOH seemed to like them!

Did any French P-63's get in on that action as well?

This'll be one to skip for me too. I saw plenty of Vietnam-era types when they were still in the inventory.

Great choice of a theme TOM guys!! With just coming off the Wings Over Houston show with a Vietnam act, it should be great! The only bad thing is since its not a WWII theme this go around...there goes my ride!

You can bet im going to try and make it!
Hmmm...maybe Rick has room!

Trae, you gonna take a barf bag and ride in the hellhole?
Tue Oct 28, 2008 9:11 pm
Which Rick ?
We got a hellhole, matter of fact, we have two. Small glitch, though, one doesn't have a bottom and darn little to hang on to, the other is full of jet engine !
