I was thinking of saving up for going to TOM next year. But cant say I enjoy much about Vietnam aircraft as I do WWII. :? What kinda aircraft could we see?

Cool! Should be a nice mix of jets and props. I'm hoping for an A-26 or two personally.

Sounds Excellent.

Possible warbirds that come to mind are: A-1 Skyraider, OV-1 Mohawk, A-4 Skyhawk, F-4 Phantom II, F-100 Super Sabre, C-7 Caribou, C-47/AC-47, C-123K, C-130E, O-1, O-2, T-28, A-26, UH-1 Huey, UH-34D Seahorse, H-21 Shawnee (VERY unlikely - in California), MiG-17, MiG-21, HU-16, A-37.

Those are just some off the top of my head - there are probably other types also. Several Vietnam-era types and the usual great cross section of warbirds (props and jets) from other eras should make for a fantastic TOM next August.

Spoke with Michael Luther yesterday. We are working out the details to participate and I am really looking forward to it. TOM and their volunteers are some of the best in the business to work with.

I just flew the airplane for a couple of flights last week after a year long firewall forward restoration. Everythings great and I'm ready to roll.

Ed, the outer rocket on the starboard wing looks crooked. What's up with that?

Ha! I meant to put ED, not Ed.

Though they both like flying.

Don't forget the B-52, that would be neat to see fly at TOM.
