Given the basic instructions I suppose somebody that is able to cook could turn it into a recipe.
Do you have beef suet in foreign climes?
It's a sort of family recipe I believe, originally from my Grandma and modified by Mum. I tried several times to make them, years ago, with varying degrees of success but always seemed to end up with suet mix stuck all over me.
It's one of the reasons that I decided to avoid kitchens. I'm obviously not cut out for them.

In that case - roll out as much acreage of suet pastry as you feel like. Fill centre with chopped bacon, onions and tomatoes in any proportions you like. Fold up and seal edges to create large heavy ball. Wrap in a cloth and steam for hours. You can do it in a basin but it's better in a cloth.
Eat. Sleep for hours. Continue with life...
Edit: While it's steaming, scrape excess suet from arms, face, clothes, windows, worktop, rolling pin, cat... You get the idea.

hmmmm new england 8 and australia 7 eh?
I am so hoping that maine is in new england. I'd hate to think how many recipes are going to be coming from there if it's not. I might not have a hope of trying to keep up with the typing then.
then again, why on earth would a person like me who never gets to cook ( the other half reckons my recipes cost too much and I make too much mess even though she loves the food ) want to try and outpace a restauranteur at posting recipes?

I swear I will have at least two recipes for you very soon, since I am working nights and Mrs. Buster is working days we only see one another for a short time during the week so, perhaps I can get her to write one or two down for me during the weekend...
I was also thinking it would be kind of funny to make the recipes appear to be pre-flight checklists, if that is at all possible. I can hear it now....
1 gallon of milk from the refrigerator....Check
1 Box of cereal...Check
1 Bowl...Check
1 Spoon...Check
Pour cereal into bowl...Check
Add Milk...Check
Return Milk to Refrigerator without taking a drink from container....
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww mannnnnnnnnnnnn.....

Good idea Jeffrey!
I have a feeling though, after proofreading all the recipes I will be saying "check" in my sleep!
Thanks!

My wife and I rarely cook with recipes, so most of what we eat is kind of on the fly.
Maybe we can help with deserts, Kelly has some killers.

Hi Rob, if i can find it again I used to know of a website for a place in america which was breeding roos and I do know that it is possible to get emu over there. I know some-one who has not only found it but bought it and eaten it over there. now to remember who and where they are eh?
have found this though.
http://www.kangaroo-industry.asn.au/morinfo/fs023.pdf
and
http://www.dfat.gov.au/facts/kangaroos.html
so obviously there is roo going to america, now just got to find out where and how much eh? I'll keep working on that for you if you like.
Rob, be warned though, roo is said to be very good for the heart as it has no cholesterol and no fat. Can't have you getting too healthy and giving those nhc personages too much trouble can we?
