Thanks for the kind comments guys!
The camera ship was flown by me and yes it was a T34. The photography was a combined affair! Let's see, Dave used my Nikon D80 to take the shots of the Go Buggy, I cleaned them up a bit with PSElements as they were shot through the canopy of the 34. I shot the pix while fliying the J-3 the next evening. This is my favorite time of year to fly. Hard to beat a cub on a fall evening with the door down!
I can't speak for the owner but I'm sure the Buggy will be taken to some shows. I am also very sure that it will fly weekly when it's back at KSAT.
And again I must give credit to my right hand Dave Young for the shots! He was not too happy with them initially ( pickey guy) but a little clean up and they came out fine.

Great shots indeed !
I loved the fall colors ones... reminded me that 7 years ago on the 13th, I met my wife to be, flying her around for her first taste of both small plane and fall colors of her life !
I am reminded of that best moment of my life everytime I fly in fall...

That Cub is as gorgeous in it's own field as Go Buggy is as a fighter. If you ever our feeling too overloaded from our modern world, I recommend a half hour in a J3 puttering around sightseeing. It will lower your blood pressure and put a smile n your face. That cockpit shot sure brings back memories.

I learned in a 55hp Cub on skis. What Bill said is so true. I could go out and chase wildlife in the woods with it, flew backwards once in a strong headwind with my mother in the front seat.... What great flying!

Those pictures of the Mustang are fantastic. Great setting!
I also gotta say that the paint job looks fantastic; dare I say almost ideal in my mind. Not too shiny, not too mat. Oh cr*p, I really hope I didn't just start another paint type conversation.
Oh, and about the J-3, I've never flown a J-3, but a Super Cub of floats, I have. What a joy it was to fly. A very fun puddle jumper. If I could have my own, I would.
Cheers,
David

Man, love that exhaust streak down the side of the fuse.
That has got to be, hands down, one of the best looking Mustang restorations I've ever seen. Finally saw it at Reno last month and...wow.
Superior work on the airplane...and the photography kicks butt, too!
