In spite of what it says on the Wirraway Museum webpage. I've learned that Steve S. did buy the 500 gal ferry tank I found for them and it will fly to OZ. The B-25 is not going to Chino from Aurora but to the SF Bay area where it will depart on it's ferry flight. BTW Jeff made a successful ferry flight from Mac to Aurora yesterday afternoon.

Got to hear about the water in the tanks and the eventual ferry flight today. Best of luck to the eventual ferry pilots.

Yup it rained here for almost 4 months straight last fall and winter and she soaped up that water like a sponge.
Anyone will tell you B-25 leak like a sieve. I know who's working on it and she'll be in good shape.
They really went throught the 2600s and they are good low time motors. The museum people did a very poor job caring for her.
BTW the ferry flight was yesterday not today. She landed about 5:30 PM.
To me the flight to OZ has way to much water and not worth the risk.

That's one hell of a flight. Do you know the route?
