The new owner better make sure that ALL the armament system has been de-activated. The one I work on hadn't been (only the cannons had been removed) when it came in from Belgium and it took about a week to render all that stuff in-operable. Fortunatly, we found it and got it all taken care of before all the paper work for a US C of A was turned in.

Sorry to deviate from the topic, but looking at those Bearcat photos brings a question to mind:

Do the ailerons deflect inwards automatically as part of the wing-folding process or are they both folded inwards to protect them during shipping? I know on the Sea Fury the ailerons deflect outwards when the wings are folded, I was wondering if this is sort of the same idea? Thanks in advance.
