P.S. to the above,
Robert O. Denny was a founding member and CEO of the company thru the end of the K model program.

I knew R.O. Denny's son back my early days as a computer nerd. I searched for 'Bob Denny Alisa Systems'. You may be able to track him down here:

rdenny@dc3.com

Hope that helps....

Woody,

I figure TJ can try contacting Bob Denny Jr. and through him reach others that worked for OnMark Engineering. From what I remember Bob telling me, he spent some time at his dad's shop when he was a teenager.

Hello Steve,
R.O. had a bunch of kids, 3 boys and 2 girls. Last I heard R.O. was living in Arizona. The last time I remember seeing him was in Alaska about 1970.I think you are refering to the oldest son, we called Bruce. Next in line was Brian ,who I went to high school with and therefore the association and the youngest son was Justin, who was a couple of grades behind us in school.
I talked to Brian, maybe 10 years ago and saw one of the girls maybe 20 years ago.
Fun group of folks, always had cool stuff around, always interesting people. Throw Bud Maytag into the mix and you really had a group that knew their way around an airplane.
That family really got the A-26 converstions going, a facinating story. I wouldn't kick one of their planes out of the hanger for leaking oil.
Any of this sound familiar ?

Thanks a lot for the help guys. I will try to contact Denny's son to see if anything can be learned. I'm currently in Marina del Rey (until thursday morning) so I might go by Van Nuys one of the days.

P.S. Steve, I just loved the photo collection you put on the net from the old days!

Look forward to that. Sorry about your dad. I had lunch with him in Santa Monica two weeks before this photo was shot at the Hawthorne Air Fair in 1990. Would it be you together with him?

Thanks TJ.....Yep...that's me. I'd recognize those legs anywhere. I did a lot of cycling at the time.
