Come and Get It- Wing shipment/storage stand.
I used this to ship P-51 wings to Chino CA from Philly area and also the return trip. It will fit in a standard height semi trailer so it can travel inside. I had a LTL provide a dedicated 27' trailer for shipment one way as well as having WIXer Gary Hilton bring it back in his 52' enclosed trailer.
We don't need it to sit around here so make an offer.

The wings are suspended on nylon straps and the inboard end is supported by a wooden 2x12 bolted to spars and upper attach angle.
Nylon straps are positioned on ribs at skin splice points.
When I sent the wing it was without the landing gear and fuel tanks so it handled that much weight without a problem.
The dimensions of the base are- 7'3" W x 20' L. The outboard uprights fold flat for loading/unloading. The base is 2x with plywood covering and 4x4 runners. Uprights are 4x4 and plywood with hinges and 3/8" pins and clips.
PM me if interested.
Rich

Free for the taking.
The tarp is starting to fray and she won't last much longer out in the weather.
Let me know.
